Endsville, an original musical with book, music, and lyrics by Kanyi C, will premier virtually on Saturday, November 7 at 7:30PM EST. There are no tickets for the event, however viewers will be encouraged to send a donation via Venmo to @Kanyi-Creppy.

The Des Moines Community Playhouse held the 2018 Dionysos Awards on Sunday, Oct. 14. The theatre honored 18 backstage, front-of-house, and education volunteers, and announced 10 acting award winners. The evening with a number from Billy Elliot The Musical, on stage now through Oct. 28.

Continuing its season theme of "Off Your Rocker," The Highwood Theatre will present an all-new production of the quirky musical "Soon," opening in April. "Soon" is Highwood's 5th annual Open Source Theatre Project, and with the intent of redefining conceptions of a traditional night at the theatre, will feature two casts - one made up of talented high school students and one of adult professionals. The two  casts will rehearse together and perform in repertory, supported by a student design team and student crew.
