Three nights of cabaret artistry on display was heaven at times, and a long haul at others.

BroadwayWorld was behind the scenes at the final night of the Cabaret Convention hosted by artistic director KT Sullivan.  Klea Blackhurst presented Billy Stritch with the Donald F. Smith Award.

After fifteen months of unwanted hiatus, host/producer Jim Caruso brought his notorious 'Cast Party' back to it's home on the Birdland stage. July 5 marked the return of the wildly popular weekly open mic/variety show that has been bringing Broadway glitz and urbane wit to the historic music room every Monday since 2004.

Jazz vocal prodigy and chart topping vocalist, Anaïs Reno will make her debut at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd Street between Park and Madison Aves.) with the Pete Malinverni Trio on Tuesday, August 10th at 7pm.
