Get a first look at the world premiere of Christmas in Connecticut - A New Musical, running now through December 30 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

Two of Connecticut’s major non-profit arts organizations, the Garde Arts Center and Goodspeed Musicals, are collaborating to present a free regional event based on the Warner Bros. movie Christmas in Connecticut on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Garde Arts Center in downtown New London. 

Goodspeed Musicals has announced the cast for the world premiere of Christmas in Connecticut – A New Musical. The holiday-themed musical comedy that is sure to delight audiences will run from Nov. 18 – Dec. 30 at The Goodspeed.

The new original musical Senior Class will receive a AEA 29-hour industry reading beginning this week. Senior Class has a book, melodies, and lyrics written by Melvin Tunstall, III and music & arrangements by Greg Dean Borowsky and was conceived by Kevin Duda.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the creative team for its world-premiere production of Bhangin’ It: A Bangin’ New Musical, book by Mike Lew and Rehana Lew Mirza, music and lyrics by Sam Willmott, with additional music by Grammy Award nominee Deep Singh, running in the Mandell Weiss Theatre March 8 – April 17, 2022.

A limited number of $20 seats will be available via an online lottery.  The lottery will happen online only the day prior to each designated performance. 

National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced this year’s casting for the performances of Little Duende, Māyā, Private Gomer Jones, and TL;DR featured in the 33rd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS.
