2016 Primus Prize Winner IN A WORD Premieres Tonight at Cherry Lane Theatre
Lesser America (Half Moon Bay, The Bachelors, Carnival Kids, Trevor) presents the New York Premiere of IN A WORD by Lauren Yee, winner of the 2016 Francesca Primus Prize and a finalist for the ATCA/Steinberg Award. Directed by Tyne Rafaeli (The Bridges of Madison County national tour, Actually at Geffen Playhouse), previews began June 16 at Cherry Lane Theatre, where Lesser America continues its run as the inaugural Company in Residence. Opening night is slated for tonight, June 21.

THE BAG LADY Kicks Off International Tour at Theatre Row Tonight
Award winning puppet theatre, THE BAG LADY by Malgosia Szkandera, will begin its international tour at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre (410 W 42nd Street) tonight, January 31, and Saturday, February 1, at 7pm. THE BAG LADY is being presented by Ana Szkandera, in association with Daniel Neiden with the support of The Jim Henson Foundation.

Morgana and Agamemnon, part of The Bunker Trilogy, come to London's Southwark Playhouse directly from an Edinburgh Festival run, for a four week run in an immersive experience from the producer of Belt Up Theatre. The Bunker Trilogy is written by Jamie Wilkes. The productions will be directed by Jethro Compton. Previews from tonight, 28 August 2013. Press night Friday, 30 August 2013 at 7.30pm. Frank Wildhorn Brings FRANK & FRIENDS Series to Birdland; Kicks Off Tonight with Morgan James et al., 6/11
Broadway at Birdland previously announced a partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn for a monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends." The series of one-night-only concerts will feature the songs and performers from the composer's range of work in popular, theatrical and classical music. All profits will go to The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment.
