If they were in the front row, they had to win the in-person lottery, not the online one. I just won the in person on Saturday, and the whole front row, wall to wall, was held for that one.

I was standing over her shoulder when she logged into her Ticketmaster account to see what seats they were offering and I promise you, it was the center front row.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure they told us there were 24 seats available, and that would be the entire front row.... oh well, I'll leave it to other to sort out, I guess.
How many people were there for the in person lottery? Coming in July and this show is at the top of my list! Will be doing both online and in person and want to make sure I get it!

Yes, if anyone has any insight on how easy or difficult this lottery is I'd love to know.

Probably 50-60? Not bad.
That said, the show was 100% sold out, with a cancellation line. So, not sure lotteries are a fool-proof way to see this show as the amount of people entering will surely grow once school is out.
I entered the digital lottery everyday for a couple weeks and the first time I won tickets, I passed them up as I ended up not being able to attend. I won again only 4 days later, and went that time. Both times, I was notified in the late afternoon that I had won because another winner didn't purchase their tickets, so they must have "rounds" of winners. The seats were fantastic, left orchestra near the center aisle, maybe row J or K? Fantastic view.
I won on Thursday 10/18 and the tickets were row Z, rear orchestra, center near the sound mixer. I sent my kids, who thought the seats were pretty lousy, but they really enjoyed the show nevertheless.
My Mother and I won the Lucky Seats lottery and our seats were sub-par. We only paid $25 for each ticket, and we got Orchestra 1 row E. this meant (at Shea's Buffalo) we were allllll the way to the right and the very first two seats. With the way the stage is set up, we were missing the action on the rightmost third of the stage. It was still fantastic! There were only 2 moments I think that I was sort of frustrated with the lack of sightline, but otherwise, it was awesome. I wish we were farther back, or farther to the left, but I still wouldn't have traded the experience for the world. Well worth it, despite the slightly obstructed view.
I won earlier in the month. I forget the exact row and seat #, but it was in the rear right MEZZ, second to last row on the rightmost seat closest to the wall. Stage was full view, but I would've loved to be closer. Can't complain for the price though.
Seat next to me was empty, but the one after that seated another lottery winner. We both won via waitlist, so I'm not sure if that was a factor of our seats or not. I do know that the other people around us paid full price for their tickets and weren't lotto winners though.
