Free Performance From the WHEELING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA at THE STRAND THEATRE As Part of Their WSO ON THE GO Series

WSO on the Go - Wheeling Symphony Orchestra's traveling symphony - have announced that their next performance will be on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at 7:00 PM at The Strand Theatre in Moundsville, WV and will be free to the public.

The Wheeling Symphony's percussion ensemble features musicians Daniel Zawodniak, Alex Mendoze and Andrew Ferdig and is led by WSO musician Eliseo Rael. Rael is known throughout the country for his talents with both the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review celebrating his marimba playing. Mr. Rael has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, The West Virginia Symphony and the UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland.

The official WSO press release released by Bryan Braunlich, the General Manager of the WSO, states, "if you are in the mood for an exciting and thrilling evening of music, experience this incredible concert performed by our WSO musicians. The evening will feature an eclectic array of music, including a performance of the virtuosic show stopping 'Stubernic' by Marc Ford. We want to thank our incredible friends at The Strand Theatre for helping make this concert possible, and we hope that everyone comes out and supports the Wheeling Symphony and its musicians at this historic and beautiful space in Moundsville."

All WSO on the Go concerts will be free due to generous contributions from McKinley Carter Wealth Services and others.
