MALENA ERNMAN Coming to Dalhalla This July!

MALENA ERNMAN, a summer concert, is playing at Dalhalla in Sweden on July 6th, 2019.

Last year Malena Ernman celebrated 10 years with his annual summer concerts in the old limestone quarry Dalhalla. Together with Helen Sjöholm, Sarah Dawn Finer and Nils Landgren troll band Malena over 14,000 people during 3 summer warm evenings in July. 2019 will be no exception, as Malena returns with the guests Lisa Nilsson and the two So as in the heavenly colleagues Philip Jalmelid and Kristin Lidström.

Malena Ernman's summer concerts outside Rättvik have, with their 10 consecutive years, become a much appreciated tradition at both the audience, the press and the artist colleagues. In various constellations, Malena at Dalhalla has been seen by over 88,000 people since 2009. The concept was celebrated last year as "a wonderful form" in Aftonbladet (4+) and just as in the previous year, the shape is similar and with new guest artists.

- I have said it before, but Dalhalla is the highlight of the year for me. And this year I have with me three very incredible musicians from both the jazz and musical world. But we have in common that we love good music, and it will be how much fun to move freely between everything from baroque opera and folk music to pop, musical, you name it. Dalhalla is a magical and fantastic place and every year I am so grateful that we can come back, Malena Ernman says.

Lisa Nilsson requires no further presentation. She is one of Sweden's largest musicians and has since the early 1990s led the way for Swedish soul & jazz music. For just under a month, Lisa Nilsson completed a nationwide anniversary tour of the album "Heaven around the corner", which was seen by over 30,000 people, and on February 14 it is the premiere of her own performance "The Woman Who I Am" at Rival in Stockholm. Now it is clear that she will visit Malena Ernman for two evenings in July!

Philip Jalmelid and Kristin Lidström are two of Malena's artist colleagues from the hugely acclaimed musical set of "As in Heaven" at the Oscar Theater. The performance picked the highest score in Aftonbladet and was called "strong and sovereign" by Dagens Nyheter. Philip Jalmelid was praised yesterday, December 5, for "this year's performance" by the Society of Stall Brothers. Kristin Lidström, with her shy age of 26 years, is already more experienced than most and has, in addition to her participation in So as in heaven. played in "Kristina from Duvemåla" and "Les Misérables".
