It’s already the third week of January and the Mirvish theatres are getting ready for what is set to be be the first full year of theatre since 2019.

Next in Hamilton's Encore series of student performances is a May 2019 concert by the Hamilton College Orchestra that featured songs from the Bernstein classic West Side Story.

Following a record number of nominations and votes, winners have been announced for the 2019 BroadwayWorld Connecticut Awards, brought to you by TodayTix!! The nominees were set, audiences voted, and now we get to recognize local theatres and performers for their outstanding achievement!

Six weeks of enthusiastic fundraising erupted into two extraordinary performances of lighthearted parodies, inspiring calls-to-action and exceptional dance at this year's Red Bucket Follies. The NY Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies, New York City's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, celebrates a landmark 35th anniversary this year. Today, the nominees for the 2019 Bessie Awards, along with the recipients of the 2019 Juried Bessie Award and 2019 Outstanding Breakout Choreographer Award, were announced and celebrated at the Bessies press conference. Memphis has its eyes on Hamilton as the second national touring cast plays Orpheum Theatre July 9-28.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2019-20 season subscription shows and added attractions. The eight-show slate begins on September 10 with Miss Saigon and ends with the Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning Best Musical The Band's Visit in July 2020.

The National Basketball Association (NBA)announced today that 2019 GRAMMY®Award-nominated artist and North Carolina native J. Cole will take the court in his home state to headline the 2019 NBA All-Star Game halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 17 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. Before the game, Meek Mill will take the stage for an exciting opening and entertaining introduction of the All-Star teams, followed by GRAMMY® Award winner and Charlotte-born Anthony Hamilton performing the U.S. national anthem.  Multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen will perform the Canadian national anthem. The 68th NBA All-Star Game begins at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and will be seen by fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages.  

Broadway in Indianapolis has announced the 2019- 2020 Season which includes the Broadway Musical, HAMILTON, playing its premiere Indianapolis engagement and anchoring the 2019-2020 Season. The series will also include the Indianapolis premieres of COME FROM AWAY, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, and ANASTASIA. Rounding out the season will be the return of the classics FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and CATS.

HAMILTON: THE EXHIBITION - a 360-degree, immersive exhibit that will travel to select U.S. cities - has set a new opening date of April 6, 2019 in Chicago, it has been announced by Jeffrey Seller, producer of the musical HAMILTON .

Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh announce today (31 May 2018) that a new booking period for the London production of HAMILTON will go on sale on Monday 4 June 2018 at 12 noon GMT. Tickets will then be available to be purchased for performances to Saturday 30 March 2019 via official HAMILTON ticketing channels.

The national tour of HAMILTON will return to St. Louis in the 2019-2020 U.S. Bank Broadway season, it was announced today by producer Jeffrey Seller and the Fabulous Fox Theatre. HAMILTON just completed its three-week debut engagement at the Fabulous Fox.
