THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS featured the cast of the Tony-winning musical COME FROM AWAY, performing 'Somewhere In the Middle of Nowhere' live from The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

Pioneering airline pilot Beverley Bass was captain of one of the 39 planes redirected to a small Canadian town in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, a story dramatized in the Broadway hit COME FROM AWAY.

Come From Away has been 2017's little musical that could. Soon after opening at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, the show earned seven Tony nominations (picking up one for director Christopher Ashley), coming as quite a shock to the creative team that has been nurturing the project since the beginning. 'We expected Canadian high schools to do it... and now we're on Broadway,' explained creator David Hein.

The winners of the ninth annual JIMMY® AWARDS were determined and announced just last week, June 26, 2017, at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. This life-changing event was hosted by 2017 Tony Award® winner Ben Platt, currently starring on Broadway in Dear Evan Hansen.
