Andrew Lloyd Webber will release a fully immersive 360° music video for “You're in the Band,” a musical number from his upcoming Broadway show, School of Rock – The Musical, today, Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Shot in a real NYC classroom, this innovative 360° video produced for the Broadway production is one of the first of its kind on YouTube or Facebook. The video, was designed byAndrew Lloyd Webber and School of Rock book writer Julian Fellowes to take full advantage of new 360° technology and allows you to navigate all angles of the classroom for an exciting and immersive experience of the song. The 360° video will accompany a new single of “You're in the Band” produced by Lloyd Webber and legendary music producer, Rob Cavallo, to be released by Warner Bros. Records.

School of Rock-The Musical may not hit Broadway until later this year, but a select group of people are currently getting a sneak peek at the Grammercy Theatre to watch an early version of the new musical. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, School of Rock-The Musical, will soon have its World Premiere on Broadway. Previews will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6. Over the weekend, hundreds of musically gifted children gathered at the Winter Garden for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the most famous kid band of all time. An open casting call was held, at which hundreds of kids tried to rock, whale, strum and drum their way to Broadway glory on the stage of the Winter Garden Theatre (former home, for nearly 18 record-shattering years, toAndrew Lloyd Webber's Cats). BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there for the auditions and you can check out some of the performances from the talented kids below!
