The 2024 Season at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater will open with Smart, by Mary Elizabeth Hamilton, directed by Jess Chayes. Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m., June 8-23, 2024.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the original Reefer Madness, a new revised version Reefer Madness the Musical will open May 30, 2024 at The Whitney. I talked to director/choreographer Spencer Liff during the early days of rehearsals, so casting hadn’t been finalized. Members of the original creative team reuniting to produce are: actors Kristen Bell, Christian Campbell and Alan Cumming, creators Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney, Andy Fickman, who directed 2005's Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, and America Olivo Campbell.

World-renowned pianist, podcaster, and certified breathwork educator Chad Lawson has released a new single “Like The Stars In The Sky,” from his new album Where We Are, out on July 19 via Decca Records US. The highly-anticipated musical adaptation of the 1988 classic movie MYSTIC PIZZA, which recently completed a critically hailed run at LA Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts this past January, will embark on a North American Tour in January 2025.

Ballet Dancer Beatris Khamidullaeva, whose work includes most prominent Swan Lake, Gisele, or The Wills, La Bayadère, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and many others, reached success in dance competitions with her students will tell the story of her journey from being a beginner ballet dancer in Tashkent now setting her sights on making a mark in the global dance scene, harnessing the power of Oriental allure.

The wonderful story of Princess Smartypants was written by Babette Cole in 1986. Judith Dimant at Wayward Productions gifted it to us to create in 2020, and after the delays of the pandemic, we have had the absolute joy of finally bringing it to life this year!
