Door Shakespeare has announced the production team for the 2023 season. Directors Scott McKenna Campbell and Leda Hoffmann return for their sixth and fourth respective seasons.

The DOWNTOWN URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL will present 16 plays (nine shorts and seven one-acts.) The festival kicks off on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 when Savion Glover and Reg E. Gaines (Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk) make a much-anticipated return to The Public Theater with the centerpiece production If Trane Wuz Here.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced its upcoming 2022-23 season of dance including several anniversary celebrations and world premieres. The fall season begins with two shows melding dance and jazz music: famed Newark-born tap artist and dancemaker Savion Glover collaborates with jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater (Nov 12)  followed by new works by New Jersey-based Carolyn Dorfman Dance featuring a live performance by renowned jazz violinist Regina Carter (Nov 16).

Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. After a sensational UK premiere in 2017, Taj Express returns to Sadler's Wells from Tuesday 2 October - Saturday 20 October 2018. The production makes its way back to The Peacock from Film City, Mumbai, and a sell-out tour of America, transporting the kaleidoscopic colours of India into the heart of London's West End.

La Jolla Playhouse announces the appointment of Eric Keen-Louie as Producing Director. Keen-Louie will take over the reins producing the Playhouse's subscription season from Associate Artistic Director Jaime Castañeda, who will be departing the Playhouse next month to pursue freelance directing projects for theatre and television in Los Angeles.
