Ken Ludwig's comedy LEND ME A TENOR starring Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, Jan Maxwell, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jay Klaitz, and Brooke Adams, directed by Stanley Tucci, will bow on Broadway on April 4, 2010 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Preview performances begin March 11. Additonal casting will be announced.

Variety is reporting that the latest Disney animated release 'The Princess and the Frog' claimed the the top of the box office chart on Friday, making $7 million off 3,434 theaters in its first Friday of wide release. Jim Steinman is working on a musical based on his 'Bat Out of Hell' albums. Steinman has revealed that the musical, Bat Out of Hell, will be based on the songs from the three-album cycle. Described as a Cirque du Soleil-type spectacle, Steinman wrote both the music and lyrics for this dynamic project.
