Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) will produce the world-premiere of the musical THE LANDING this fall, with music by the Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and book and lyrics by Greg Pierce, kicking off the company's 2013-14 season, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, The Vineyard's Artistic Director, and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director.

The Vineyard Theatre announces that the first Susan Stroman Directing Award has been given to Liesl Tommy. This new, residency-based award, given to a talented early or mid-career director, will provide its recipients with space, time and support to develop projects and strike new collaborations while in residence at the theatre. The award was presented to Ms. Tommy at The Vineyard's 30th Anniversary Gala, held last night at The Edison Ballroom. With Ms. Stroman's creative genius and spirit of collaboration as an inspiration, The Vineyard will proudly present the Susan Stroman Award annually.
BoHo Theatre presents Hauptmann, an examination of truth and media indictment, by lauded Chicago playwright John Logan. Genovese, who directed the critically acclaimed BoHo productions of The Rainmaker, The Glorious Ones, Sideshow, and I Am My Own Wife. The production features Jeremy Trager in the role of Richard Hauptmann. Trager was recently seen in BoHo's productions of The Spitfire Grill and Tartuffe. Hauptmann represents the Bohemian Pillar of Truth in BoHo's 2012/2013 Season.

Two-time Tony Award nominated costume designer Carrie Robbins, and scenic, lighting, costume designer and educator Lloyd Burlingame are among the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 4, at 6:30pm, at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Ms. Robbins was selected to receive the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Mr. Burlingame will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.
