Carrying on a closeted romance, Peter wants to go public with their affair, at least to his mother, whom he loves dearly. Jason isn't so keen on the idea, as he feels that his entire world would crumble if word of the relationship got out. Things get more complicated when classmate Ivy makes a play for Jason. Her rejected suitor Matt discovers the secret that Peter and Jason have been keeping and it's only a matter of time before things start to spin out of control. As they struggle to come to terms with who they are, and who the world thinks they should be, they seek answers from their Church, their friends, and ultimately, from within themselves. Performed at the Bingham Theatre at Actors Theatre.
'The team of Jon Hartmere Jr. and Damon Intrabartolo have wrought a magnificent, totally original contemporary musical extravaganza that explores the schism between youthful passion and theological dogma.' - Variety
Actor-singer-dancer-choreographer Adam Fleming became a part of Broadway history originating the roles of Sketch in Hairspray and Lucas in Bare. In 2005, he starred in David Brind and Adam Salky's acclaimed short film, Dare, about two teenage boys' tense, spark-filled encounter in a pool following high school play practice. Dare gained a cult following as part of Strand Releasing's 'Boys Life' series and ultimately achieved worldwide popularity via more than 12 Million views on Youtube. The fan fervor (and fan fiction!) eventually inspired a sequel, ten years later. The original and the sequel are now being presented together as The Dare Project and attracting new legions of fans.

Off-Musical Frankfurt's stripped-down, bare-bones, cheaply-produced touring production of GREEN DAY'S AMERICAN IDIOT that was foisted upon the half-empty Admiralspalast in Berlin last night had almost NOTHING to do with the musical presented on Broadway. Last night's performance was like watching a 3rd-rate, Green Day cover band in a provincial nightclub. The audience and the musical both deserve much better.

Rental Gallery is proud to present Space Never Moved, an exhibition of new paintings by Margaux Ogden opening with a public reception on March 17, and remaining on view until April 18. With these new works, Ogden continues her exploration of acrylic on raw canvas, parsing gesture and palette to create tightly patterned, self-referential works.
