Hershey Felder Presents – Live From Florence is pleased to announce a 2021-2022 season of new musical and dramatic films, to be produced in Europe and broadcast for American audiences.

The German production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be the fifth to open after Broadway (now playing), London (Nov 2021), Melbourne (expected Nov 2021), and the US Tour (February 2022). Tokyo is scheduled for 2023.

The hottest musical improv show in NYC has been extended! Vern: Off Broadway will run at the Players Theatre until the end of December 2022.

East West Players, in partnership with San Francisco’s EnActe Arts and New York City’s Hypokrit Productions, presents the virtual world premiere of Lavina Jadhwani’s THE SITAYANA (OR HOW TO MAKE AN EXIT) beginning September 25, 2021. Lavina’s updated, upending take on the Hindu epic The Ramayana recounts the story through Sita’s eyes, rather than Ram’s eyes as in the original. Audiences attending the livestreams will be given a choice to one of the three unique incarnations of Sita. The Met today announced a new season of live performances with in-person audiences beginning fall 2021 and a new Artist in Residence, the acclaimed dancer and choreographer Bijayini Satpathy. Beginning in October, performances will once again take place in galleries throughout the Museum, as well as in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium, and will feature MetLiveArts commissions and leading international musicians and composers.

The Saint Louis University Theatre & Dance Program of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts has announced its line-up for the 2021-2022 University Theatre & Dance Season. The selections for this season consist of traditional and contemporary works, as well as original work from university students.

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre is seeking new play submissions for Brave New Works: Ditmas Park 2022 Reading Series. This season, they are especially looking to feature LGBTQIA+ stories.
