Sunnsetter is the music project of accomplished and prolific multi-instrumentalist, composer, and mixing engineer, Andrew McLeod, who has been releasing their solo music since 2014. Last year, they shared their LP entitled The best that I can be. A musical adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians is set to hit the Broadway stage! The contemporary romantic comedy is based on the 2013 novel by Kevin Kwan and 2018 Warner Bros. Pictures film directed by  Jon M. Chu.  

Acclaimed Irish indie rock band Pillow Queens is diving into intoxicating feelings with punchy, cathartic track and official video 'Heavy Pour' out now ahead of their LP release on Friday, April 19. The band's triumphant third studio album Name Your Sorrow is due out April 19 and available for pre-order now. 'Unknown Soldier' is a beautifully performed show with a fascinating exploration of memory, love, and loss, but its main flaw is that it is a show seeking out answers to a mystery it not only fails to resolve, but further convolutes at every turn. While there’s truth in that, it’s also a little dissatisfying, as life itself often is.

Let’s face it, the world of theatre, at times, can be misogynistic. Even though we joke about the multitude of gay men that are involved in theatre, that does not mean it is exempt from the repercussions of “the patriarchy”. As a gay man myself, I understand this problem all too well, but here in Dayton, we have luckily had some incredibly impactful pieces that were not only led by women, but speak upon the experiences of womanhood.
