Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents the February Panel, Festivals: Working Hard to Give Your Show a Chance, on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at The Actors Temple Theatre, 339 W. 47th Street, NYC. Doors open at 7pm for networking and the panel starts at 7:30pm.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago. Among the talented list are a mix of Muny favorites and newcomers. In addition to casting, a comprehensive list of design teams for each production will be released later this spring. Swing Left-Los Feliz and Stand Up 4 America announced today that comedy legend and Emmy Award-winner Dana Gould will host CHRISTMAS WITH A Z! as 'Dr. Zaius.' The mind-blowing evening of holiday music, comedy and cocktails will benefit Field Team 6, a national volunteer organization whose simple mission is to register Democrats in crucial battlefields across the country to take back the White House. The fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 8:00 pm (doors open at 7:00 pm) at The Satellite, 1717 Silverlake Blvd., in Silver Lake. The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus is pleased to announce a diverse array of holiday-themed programming & family-friendly events, including: returning favorites from the Kimmel Center's esteemed Resident Companies like The Philadelphia Orchestra, Pennsylvania Ballet, and The Philly POPS; FREE Gospel events; and opportunity for community outreach & city-wide celebrations like the FREE 15th annual New Year's Day celebration. Surpassing their original $100,000 goal, the stream featured appearances and giveaway items from special guests including Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, Twenty One Pilots' Josh Dun, and DJ and producer Dillion Francis. Fans also received surprises like the premiere of an original metal song from Urie, and giveaways from Panic! Since creating and starring in In the Heights and Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda has become one of the most influential creators on Broadway. His work has earned him great acclaim and he's collected too many awards to count, including a Pulitzer Prize, an Emmy Award, three Grammy Awards, three Tony Awards and a Kennedy Center Honor.

Lincoln Center Theater, under the direction of André Bishop, has announced it will produce a new musical during its 2019-2020 season. FLYING OVER SUNSET, with a book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, will feature choreography by Michelle Dorrance, and will begin previews March 12, 2020 and open on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton and Tony Yazbeck will head the cast with additional casting to be announced at a later date.
