The same school from which she graduated exactly six years before she starred in a short bestiality film entitled, 'Dogarama,' in 1971. The next year, Linda Lovelance became a house-hold name in the hardcore porn film, 'Deep Throat,' the same film that is the subject of David Bertolini's new play at 45 Bleeker Street Theatre.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott will open at the American Airlines Theatre in place of the indefinitely postponed Lips Together, Teeth Apart. The critically acclaimed musical by Dick Scanlan & Sherie Rene Scott is directed by Michael Mayer.

Ghost Light Projects has announced their double bill of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH and DEBBIE DOES DALLAS, which will open October 23rd and run through November 8th at the Theatre Centre in Toronto. Seth Drabinsky will headline in his Toronto stage debut as the sexually confused songstress Hedwig Schmidt which opens next week.

Today Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced the creative team for its world premiere of American Idiot. Based on the Grammy Award-winning album of the same name, the show features the music of Green Day and the lyrics of its frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. American Idiot is being staged by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, who also collaborated with Armstrong on the story. It features the work of Olivier Award-winning choreographer Steven Hoggett and music supervisor Tom Kitt, the Tony-winning composer who provided string arrangements for the band's latest album, 21st Century Breakdown.
