Cleveland Play House will close out their 2016-17 season with the joyful new musical romp, Freaky Friday. Based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers which spawned two hit Disney films, Freaky Friday tells the story of a mother and daughter who magically swap bodies for 24 chaotic hours. The contemporary update of this American classic includes a hilarious new book by Bridget Carpenter ("Parenthood," "Friday Night Lights"), and a pop?rock score by Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal, If/Then). Directed by Christopher Ashley, Artistic Director of La Jolla Playhouse, it has been hailed as "a polished, peppy, modern fairy tale" by The Washington Post. With high-energy choreography by Sergio Trujillo (Memphis, Jersey Boys), this vivacious production is "delightfully spunky" with "timeless appeal" (Variety).

Ghostlight Records releases the album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE in digital formats today, Friday, March 24 with CDs in stores and online Friday, May 12. CDs will be available at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street), where the show is currently running, beginning mid-April. Producer Q Theatricals announced today that after critically acclaimed and award winning productions in Seattle, New Jersey and Boston the new musical, ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME, will begin performances on Friday, April 14, 2017 and officially open on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Off-Broadway's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). This strictly limited engagement will play through Sunday, June 11th only.

The producers of the Tony, Grammy & Olivier Award-Winning Best Musical Jersey Boys recently announced that the Broadway production will end its record-breaking, 11-year run today, Sunday, January 15, 2017 after 4,642 performances at the August Wilson Theatre (245 W 52nd St, NYC).

A BRONX TALE opens on Broadway tonight, December 1, at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). 

La Jolla Playhouse, nationally-renowned for the development of new work, announces four world-premiere productions for the 2017/2018 season, including the previously-announced Escape to Margaritaville (May/June), featuring the songs of legendary singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett and an original story by co-book writers Greg Garcia ('My Name Is Earl') and Mike O'Malley ('Survivor's Remorse,' 'Shameless'), directed by La Jolla Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley (Come From Away, Memphis).

This Sunday, November 20th, 42 Seven Productions in conjunction with IndieFork and W Times Square welcome Mark Ballas and other cast members of Jersey Boys for the eighth installment of the hit Sunday night experience, 'Broadway at W.'
