Disney+ has announced that season 3 of High School Musical: The Series will debut in 2022, teasing a possible Frozen performance as this year's East High musical. Past musical performances on the popular series included Beauty and the Beast and High School Musical: The Musical. The 5th Avenue Theatre announced today the cast for its new production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, playing January 12 to February 6, 2022. Revolutionary punk-rock sensation Hedwig and the Angry Inch is coming to Olney Theatre Center this winter (November 26, 2021 to January 2, 2022) starring Mason Alexander Park, who earned a Helen Hayes Award for Best Leading Performer in a Musical for their role as the Emcee in Olney’s 2019 production of Cabaret.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing for a heartwarming romantic comedy this fall when its production of the Broadway classic The Pajama Game takes to the stage.  Opening Friday, September 10th, the production was rescheduled from earlier this season. 

Disney's Newsies, presented by The Gateway, will be the first full-scale professional production at the Patchogue Theatre since shutting down due to the pandemic. It will run from August 25 through September 11th.
