Shakespeare's Globe has announced its Winter Season for 2018/19 in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Featuring two pairings of plays by William Shakespeare and his celebrated counterpart, Christopher Marlowe, this call and response season opens on 7 November 2018. Throughout the season we are also inviting today's artists to examine, rework and elaborate on these 400-year-old provocations with new work written in response to Shakespeare and Marlowe.

National New Play Network, an alliance of professional theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, announces the opening of the second leg of its 80th Rolling World Premiere (RWP). Red Bike by Caridad Svich opens at Simpatico Theatre in Philadelphia on June 8 and runs through June 24. The Roll, which started at PYGmalion Productions (April 20-May 5 in Salt Lake City), will continue to Know Theatre of Cincinnati (January 11-February 2, 2019), and The Wilbury Theatre Group (April 11-21, 2019 in Providence). Red Bike was presented at NNPN's 2017 National Showcase of New Plays, hosted by Orlando Shakespeare Theatre.

Nationally-recognized as one of the nation's leading producers of new works of theatre for young people and their families, The Coterie Theatre announces its 40th Anniversary Season will entertain, engage, and serve as memorable experiences that all generations of the family can share. Main Street Theater (MST) announces its 43rd Season which includes eight productions on the MainStage and seven at its Theater for Youth for 2018-2019.

Dorset Theatre Festival, under the leadership of Artistic Director Dina Janis, Producing Director Will Rucker, and Executive Director Marissa Hutton, announced today that the 41st Season will begin with CRY IT OUT, by Molly Smith Metzler, directed by Marc Masterson. CRY IT OUT will occupy the slot for the previously announced production of Herb Gardner's I'm Not Rappaport starring Judd Hirsch, which has been postponed to Summer 2019 to allow Mr. Hirsch to recuperate from back surgery.

Theater J, the nation's pre-eminent professional Jewish theater, announces its 2018-2019 season, which will be presented "around town" in top cultural venues throughout the city as the historic Edlavitch DCJCC building undergoes major renovation.  Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr has selected a diverse group of plays including an acclaimed one-woman show with music at the John F. New York City staple Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony & Emmy Award winner Stockard Channing will return to the New York stage in the Off-Broadway premiere of APOLOGIA, by Alexi Kaye Campbell (The Pride). APOLOGIA will be directed by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Bad Jews, Skintight). Channing returns to the role of "Kristin" in Apologia following an acclaimed run in London's West End in 2017.

Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company, under the artistic leadership of Arthur P. Solomon and Sally E. Lapides Artistic Director Curt Columbus, announced the company's 55th season today. The 2018-19 Season, which includes a six-play subscription series plus a limited-run special engagement and the 41st annual production of A Christmas Carol, is one of the largest the company has ever produced and one of the most diverse. The season will run from October 4, 2018 through June 16, 2019. Casting announcements for the season will begin later this spring.
