Broadway's rockin' goodtime musical ROCK OF AGES will have its Canadian premiere at the legendary Royal Alexandra Theatre, with performances beginning April 27, 2010.

Adding considerable heat to an already solid season of theatrical hits earlier announced, 'Wicked,' 'Cats,' and 'Mamma Mia!,' a trio of certifiable Broadway blockbusters, will join an impressive line-up of such fun shows as 'Young Frankenstein,' and 'Rock of Ages,' a major production of the legendary 'Hair,' the emotion-packed 'Les Misérables' and 'West Side Story,' plus the passion of the current Broadway record-breaking dance musical, 'Burn The Floor,' presented by Broadway Across America as season 'specials' of the 2010-2011 subscription series presented by Florida Theatrical Association at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

The Canadian premiere of Broadway's rockin' goodtime musical ROCK OF AGES will feature some of the country's hottest musical theatre talent when it begins performances at the Royal Alexandra Theatre on April 20, 2010.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that seven plays will be developed at the 2010 National Playwrights Conference under the leadership of artistic director Wendy C. Goldberg. The selected playwrights will spend the month of July at the O'Neill's Waterford, Connecticut campus developing and presenting staged readings of their work during the NPC's 46th season. Box office and online ticket sales open Wednesday, June 9; advance ticket sales will be available to O'Neill Members beginning Monday, May 17.
