Glasgow International Comedy Festival Q&A: Annie McGrath

Tell us a bit about your show Viral.

My show includes material on sheep herding, spinach and slugs. Something for everyone! I will also be talking about my various experiences of creepy men. Heard of them?

Do you have any top tips for anything else visitors should do while in Glasgow?

I don't know Glasgow very well. The internet is a great resource though. Just type 'things to do in Glasgow' into Google (or whichever your chosen search engine is) and it should come up with some suggestions.

Who would you recommend comes to see you at the festival?

People with loud laughs. A good level of drunk- the kind which adds to the atmosphere in the room but doesn't sabotage the show.

And who would you suggest maybe doesn't?

The opposite of the above.

What sets your show apart from others in the programme?

This is my worst kind of question. Apart from when you're on a date and they ask you what music you're into... 'A bit of everything?' Does that work as an answer for this? Thought not.

What's next for you after the Glasgow International Comedy Festival?

I'll be trying out the show at Machynlleth Comedy Festival in Wales, then Wells Comedy Festival in Somerset, and various other gigs all over the place in preparation for this year's Edinburgh Fringe.
