Broadway Sacramento Welcomes Veteran Nonprofit Executive Karen McClaflin As Director Of Development

Broadway Sacramento President & CEO Richard Lewis announced the appointment of veteran fundraising executive Karen McClaflin as Director of Development for the nonprofit arts organization. McClaflin brings to Broadway Sacramento extensive experience in fundraising through campaigns, planned giving, major gift solicitation, events and corporate relations.

McClaflin previously served as Chief Development Officer for Goodwill Sacramento Valley Northern Nevada, where she managed and directed the fundraising and communications for Goodwill, along with its sister organizations Wind Youth Services, Next Move Homeless Services, Francis House, Community Link and People of Progress in Redding. Her prior experience also includes serving as Executive Director at the California Automobile Museum, ALS Association, and the Pregnancy Care Center of Crescent City, for a cumulative 25+ years in the nonprofit field.

McClaflin will be responsible for leadership of the Development team, supporting strategic initiatives for donor and sponsor relations and working closely with the Board of Directors and Leadership Team to advance Broadway Sacramento's mission. She will lead the efforts to secure and preserve private and public resources for the betterment of Broadway Sacramento and the patrons and students the organization serves, while providing donors with opportunities to witness and experience the results of their philanthropy.
