David Hernandez To Celebrate Album Launch Party This Saturday Phoenix's own David Hernandez, will perform songs from his new album, Kingdom: The Mixtape, and conduct a meet-and-greet with fans at Kobalt Bar, Saturday, November 10, at 7:30 pm. Kobalt is in Park Central Mall, located between Osborn and Thomas Roads on Central Avenue, 3110 N Central Avenue, Suite 175.

Available for download on Spotify and Apple Music since September 20, Hernandez's self-released Kingdom: The Mixtape is his first album in seven years. It features original and introspective songs and covers a myriad of pop and R&B genres. Already, the album has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans, reviewers and the media within the world of music.

Songs including "Shield (Coat of Armor)," "Dear My Future Self," "Battle Cry" and the title track, "Kingdom," highlight 23 selections on the 60:31 album. With collaborations from fellow American Idol alum Blake Lewis and a number of highly respected music producers, the album promises to reach music fans on many levels.

Hernandez began acting and singing at age six, starring in musicals and performing with local theatre companies. As a teenager David began writing original music and recording his material. He attended Westview High School and Arizona State University, before moving to Los Angeles, where he now resides.

In addition to American Idol, David has showcased his talents on The Ellen Show, The Today Show, MTV's TRL, EXTRA, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Teen Choice Awards, TV Guides' Sexiest Stars 2008, Idol Tonight, Idol Gives Back and FOX-TV.

A once-in-a-lifetime invitation came to David when he was asked to sing at the Inaugural Kick-Off Celebration ball for President Barack Obama. He was honored to share the stage with Jamie Foxx, John Legend and Maroon 5, along with event hosts Jessica Alba and legendary TV producer, Norman Lear.

In addition to writing and performing his music, throughout the U.S., Hernandez is also an LGBT advocate, supporting the Human Rights Campaign and performing at Pride festivals, around the country.

Kobalt Bar features a state-of-the-art sound system and full selection of beer and alcohol, as well as a new menu of signature cocktails featuring local spirits, including Hardway Bourbon and Grand Canyon Vodka, from Flagstaff; Western Sage Gin, from Prescott; and they now offer locally brewed beers on tap that include Barrio Blonde, Pilot Rock, Tower Station IPS, Prescott Ponderosa IPA, Orange Blossom Papago and Huss Koffee.
