BroadwayWorld has a first look at Steppenwolf Theatre Company's world premiere of MS. BLAKK FOR PRESIDENT, co-written by ensemble members Tina Landau (SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical) and Tarell Alvin McCraney (Moonlight, Academy Award). Conceived by Tina Landau, she also directs this true and little-known Chicago story that will star Tarell Alvin McCraney as Ms. Joan Jett Blakk. Joining McCraney in the cast are Patrick Andrews, Molly Brennan, Daniel Kyri, Jon Hudson Odom and Sawyer Smith.

Long Lost is now in previews ahead of a Tuesday, June 4 opening night at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 W. 55th Street). Check out highlights of the cast in action below!

The Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away had its official launch on October 10 at London's Canada House - where the full cast was unveiled! The show will have its European premiere at The Abbey Theatre this December, before transferring to The Phoenix Theatre in the West End.

The national tour of Come From Away opened last week at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. Becky Gulsvig, who plays Captain Beverley Bass, among others, recently performed the song 'Me and the Sky' on K5 News. Following the performance, she joined the real-life Beverley Bass to talk more about the story's background.

COME FROM AWAY celebrated its 100th performance in Toronto today. Creators Irene Sankoff and David Hein were on hand to present the cast with a cake commemorating the milestone.

COME FROM AWAY, which was recently nominated for 14 Helen Hayes Awards in Washington, DC, began performances at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre Saturday, February 18, 2017, and officially opens Sunday, March 12, 2017.
