Get a first look at Theater J's world premiere of Hester Stree - a new adaptation of Joan Micklin Silver’s 1975 film was written by Sharyn Rothstein and directed by Oliver Butler.

The official trailer for What the Constitution Means to Me, a filmed version of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning play created by and starring Heidi Schreck, is available now. The special will premiere Oct. 16, 2020, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. In the final, record-breaking week of its hit Broadway run, director Marielle Heller (director of Oscar-nominated films A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Can You Ever Forgive Me?) captured the play at the Helen Hayes Theater in New York City.

Today we rewind to 2014, for the Encores! Off-Center production of tick, tick... boom! tick, tick... BOOM!, with book, music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, is an autobiographical musical by the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent.

Yale Repertory Theatre (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents the world premiere of THE PLOT by Will Eno, directed by Oliver Butler, November 29-December 21, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). THE PLOT opened on Thursday, December 5.

Written and performed by two-time Obie Award winner Heidi Schreck (Grand Concourse, 'I Love Dick') and directed by Obie Award winner Oliver Butler (The Amateurs, The Light Years), What the Constitution Means to Me opened last night, March 31, 2019, at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 W 44th Street, New York, NY).

What the Constitution Means to Me began previews on Broadway just a couple of days ago, on March 14. The show's playwright and star Heidi Schreck chatted last night with Stephen Colbert about how she has a long, personal relationship with the document that begins 'We the People.'

On this episode,  writer/composer Richard Thomas visits with actors Terrence Mann and Will Swenson from Thomas' controversial work Jerry Springer -The Opera, which created a sensation in the UK 13 years ago, but was considered so outrageous that it only now premieres in NYC. They discuss the spectacular production by The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center, with Michael Musto of NewNowNext.com and Susan Haskins. Next, playwright Jordan Harrison, director Oliver Butler and actor Michael Cyril Creighton talk about their production of Harrison's highly-original and thought-provoking play, The Amateurs, at the Vineyard Theatre, about a theater troop fleeing The Black Death in the Middle Ages and how these actors contributed to the modern dramatic concepts of character and individuality.

Signature Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of THE OPEN HOUSE, by Will Eno and directed by Oliver Butler. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The production is now playing through through March 23, 2014 with a March 3 opening night in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
