As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Ghostlight Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of The Bridges of Madison County, the new romantic musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning team of Marsha Norman ('night Mother, The Color Purple) and Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade). Ghostlight Records has announced that the Original Cast Recording of the new Broadway hit Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, can now be pre-ordered on iTunes, in advance of a Tuesday, April 1st digital release. Those who pre-order the album will immediately receive a special advance track of Jessie Mueller's 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow.' The album, produced by Jason Howland, Steve Sidwell and Billy Jay Stein, with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer, will be available in-stores on May 13, 2014 and will include a 28-page color booklet with full lyrics, rare and never-before-seen archival and show photos, and liner notes by Beautiful book writer Douglas McGrath. The original cast recording of Murder for Two, the hit new musical comedy starring Jeff Blumenkrantz and Brett Ryback, with book and music by Joe Kinosian and book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, was released digitally yesterday, January 14, 2014 by Ghostlight Records. Ghostlights Records has just announced that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of HANDS ON A HARDBODY will be released for digital download on July 9, 2013 and the CD will arrive in stores on August 13. The show was nominated for three 2013 Tony Awards, including "Best Original Score." The album features a cut song from the show called "The Tryers" as a special bonus track. Ghostlight Records has just announced that Carrie: The Musical - Premiere Cast Recording has debuted atop the Billboard 'Top Broadway' Chart for the week ending September 30th. The official chart lists Carrie: The Musical as the #1 selling album of the week, followed by (in order of sales) Wicked, Bring It On, The Book of Mormon, Once, and Jersey Boys, all shows still running on Broadway, making Carrie's appearance atop the chart a rare feat. Released on Tuesday, September 25th, the immediate chart success of Carrie: The Musical signals the enduring qualities of its 2012 production at MCC Theater (which closed its celebrated run in April 2012) and the dynamic score with music by Academy Award®-winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), lyrics by Academy Award®-winner Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose), and a book by Lawrence D. Cohen, who also penned the film's screenplay.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Bring It On: The Musical will be produced by Ghostlight Records and available on Back Lot Music, and available for digital download on iTunes now and in stores October 16, 2012. The cast of Bring It On recorded the album at MSR Studios in New York City on August 9, 10 and 16, 2012 under the direction of Album Producers Alex Lacamoire, Tom Kitt and Kurt Deutsch. The New Broadway Cast Recording of the revival of GODSPELL is being released digitally today, December 20, 2011 on Ghostlight Records. Tony Award winner Alice Ripley is prepping a new solo recording for Sh-K-Boom Records, the same label that released her 2000 debut album Everything's Fine and the acclaimed original cast recording of Next to Normal. Daily Practice: Volume 1 will feature acoustic covers of songs from artists like Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Carole King, Alanis Morissette, Carly Simon and U2. 'It's a collection of songs that I play every day,' Ripley told Broadway.com in an exclusive chat about the new CD. 'I pick up my guitar every day, especially at times where I don't know where I am or who I am. My guitar reminds me... Reminds me of why I wanted to sing and who I am and what I have to say.'

New Line Records announced the release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the critically acclaimed, Five-time Tony Award nominated, 'ROCK OF AGES.' The album, which features 22 songs from the Broadway show, will be available digitally on June 2nd and in stores nationwide on July 7th. In the spirit of the original musical, The Cast recording defies Broadway conventions.
