Based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, Elf has a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Elf will be directed by Eric Ankrim and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Elf will run eight times a week at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, from November 26, 2014, through January 4, 2015. Every Sunday during the show's 15-minute intermission, cast members rush backstage to perform a quick cover of one of their favorite songs. This week, the nuns pay homage to Whoopi Goldberg and the original sisters by singing 'Follow Him' in the style of the 1992 movie hit 'Sister Act.'
