The national tour of Come From Away opened last week at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. Becky Gulsvig, who plays Captain Beverley Bass, among others, recently performed the song 'Me and the Sky' on K5 News. Following the performance, she joined the real-life Beverley Bass to talk more about the story's background.

The 5th Avenue Theatre kicks off its 2018-19 season with the launch of Come From Away's North American tour, playing October 9 - November 4, 2018. Meet Me In St. Louis is the picture-perfect nostalgic closer for The Muny's centennial season, a romantic musical based on the 1944 film that follows the Smith family through 1903 and into the new year as they await the opening of the 1904 World's Fair. The plot is a bit old fashioned by modern standards, but focuses on family, friendship, and love, and pays an affectionate tribute to a bygone era in St. Louis history.

Creator Bret Shuford (Paramour, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast), in partnership with Kevin Zak and Halleloo Productions, just launched Stranger Things the Musical - a video parody that takes a look inside rehearsals for a fictional production of Stranger Things. Check it out below!

The Secret Garden has book & lyrics by Marsha Norman, music by Lucy Simon, and is based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The production runs now through May 28, 2017 at the Stage Theatre at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. MCC Theater will soon present the New York City premiere of the new musical Ride the Cyclone, which marks just the third musical in MCC's now-iconic 30-year history of producing new works for the American theater. With book, music and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell, Ride the Cyclone had its celebrated U.S. premiere in 2015 at Chicago Shakespeare Theater under the direction and choreography of Rachel Rockwell, who returns for the MCC production.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, will present the premiere of You're Standing in My Way: A New Song Cycle by William Finn and Deborah Abramson, from August 14-17 at Mr. Finn's Cabaret, located on the lower level of the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center, 36 Linden Street, Pittsfield.  In the video below, Sally Wilfert is singing a song from the songwriting team of Deborah Abramson and two time Tony Award winner William Finn.
