Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Ripcord, the new play by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, directed by Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce, begins previews Tuesday, September 29, 2015 for a Tuesday, October 20, 2015 opening night at MTC at New YorkCity Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, this summer celebrating the 30th year of their Powerhouse Theater collaboration, will soon present their upcoming Powerhouse Theater Season, running from June 20 to July 27 atVassar College (Poughkeepsie, New York). Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) presents Shrek The Musical, the Theater's annual summer family musical, directed and choreographed by Rachel Rockwell with music direction by Michael Mahler, July 13-September 1, 2013 in CST's Courtyard Theater. Based on the Academy Award-winning DreamWorks film and the book by William Steig, CST's 75-minute production of Shrek The Musical will take audiences on an unconventional fairy-tale adventure with everyone's favorite ogre. The production features two Jeff Award-winning actors: Michael Aaron Lindner as the lovable ogre Shrek and Summer Naomi Smart in her CST debut as the spunky Princess Fiona. In support of Mayor Emanuel's Summer of Learning Program, special activities will be offered in conjunction with Shrek The Musical for students to earn a "Bard Badge."

Named Best Play by the New York Drama Critics' Circle during its Broadway run, Good People runs February 1-March 10, 2013 in the Kreeger Theater.
