Catch Ashley LaLonde's debut concert, 'HOMECOMING,' at The Green Room 42 this Sunday.

New Federal Theatre (NFT), Elizabeth Van Dyke, Producing Artistic Director, in association with ASP/Castillo Theatre, will present a reading oof Long Time Since by P.J. Gibson, to benefit the Classix Collective. The performance will take place on June 27th at 7pm at Castillo Theatre (543 W. 42nd Street, New York, New York 10036).

A private industry reading of CHARLIE HUSTLE, a new musical by Ryan Noggle (CBS'S THE NEIGHBORHOOD) and Neil Berg (GRUMPY OLD MEN), directed by Nick Corley (WOODY SEZ) will be held in New York City on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

August Wilson's groundbreaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award- winning drama Fences opens at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. Despite robust measures being in place, a breakthrough COVID-19 case has been detected within the company of ‘Tambo & Bones.’ For the wellness and safety of our guests, cast, and crew, today’s 1:00pm and 6:30pm performances at the Douglas are cancelled.

Playwrights Horizons, responding to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant in New York City, has announced a one-week delay of the start of Dave Harris’ Tambo & Bones, from January 12 to January 19, and a requirement that all audience members receive booster shots in advance of attending.

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival announced today performance dates and casting for its 2021 Summer Season, its final at Boscobel House and Gardens. The season will begin on June 24, 2021 with The Most Spectacularly Lamentable Trial of Miz Martha Washington by James Ijames, which will conclude on July 30.

The play, whose premiere was presented by NFT in 1987, is an imaginary encounter between Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X in 1965 in a hotel in Harlem. Differing in their philosophies but alike in their mutual respect, the two men debate their varying approaches to the same grave social problems. Both are prepared to die for their beliefs but neither is aware of how soon assassins' bullets await them. The play was televised on American Playhouse in 1989.
