Tickets for Hadestown at the Royal Alexandra Theatre will go on sale to the public on Friday February 10 at 10:00 a.m.

The dancing was well choreographed, although, many numbers were very similar, presumably noting the tedium of the underworld. The use of the rotating stage was well executed, and the overall energy was high. ​​​​​​​ Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, is coming to Overture Center from Tuesday, Jan. 24 through Sunday, Jan. 29 in Overture Hall.

At today’s matinee, Hadestown will play its 918th performance making the musical the longest-running show in the 100-year history of the Walter Kerr Theatre. Hadestown began preview performances at the Kerr on March 22, 2019 and opened April 17, 2019.

Broadway in Cincinnati announced that the individual tickets for HADESTOWN are on sale now. Patrick Page will play his final performance in Hadestown, Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best Musical, on Friday, December 30.

Lana Gordon, who previously starred as Persephone in Hadestown on Broadway (taking over the role from its originator, Amber Gray), will be joining the National Tour of Hadestown as Perseophone for a limited engagement through November 19. 

HADESTOWN will make its anticipated South Florida premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County  from December 6–11, 2022.

The HADESTOWN North American Tour is coming to St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre October 11-23, 2022. Produced by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, and Tom Kirdahy, Hadestown is the most honored show of the 2018-2019 Broadway season.

The North American Tour of Hadestown will extend through the spring of 2024, adding engagements in cities across the United States and Canada.
