On May 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm the halls of First Presbyterian Church will be filled with the sound of voices of many generations joined in song. The Chamber Singers of the Colorado Springs Chorale and the Summit Ensemble of the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale will present Ralph Vaughan Williams' beautiful Dona Nobis Pacem (Grant us Peace)as the featured work in this season's X-VOX: Generations Joined in Song. 

Opera Theatre of the Rockies Presents THE MIKADO, 5/13-14

Opera Theatre of the Rockies is excited to announce their entry into the “topsy turvy” world of Gilbert & Sullivan with performances of The Mikado. Performances will be at the Kathryn Mohrman Theatre, Armstrong Hall at Colorado College on May 13 at 7:30 PM and May 14 at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $25 to $40 for adults, and student tickets are $10.

Opera Theatre of the Rockies to Present COSI FAN TUTTE

Colorado Springs audiences are in for a delicious musical adventure on April 9 & 10 when Opera Theatre of the Rockies and the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs team up to present Mozart's delightful opera buffa Così fan tutte. Two churches will host the performances, which will be fully-staged, costumed, and true to the 18th century as originally set by Mozart. The opera will be performed in the original Italian, with supertitles. The performances will be at First Christian Church (16 E. Platte) on Saturday, April 9 at 7:00 PM, and at First United Methodist Church (420 N. Nevada) on Sunday, April 10 at 3:00 pm. Opera Theatre of the Rockies is excited to announce the upcoming 2013 Vocal Arts Festival featuring the production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's beloved The Sound of Music. Following a three-year absence, the Festival returns to Colorado Springs with a variety of concerts and events for audiences of all ages! Participants will be featured in three exciting concert programs: Vocal Arts Idol (July 16, 7 pm), Let's Make a Scene (July 21, 3 pm) and finally in three performances of our summer blockbuster – Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music (August 2 & 3, 7 pm and August 4, 3pm). The summer season then wraps up on August 7 at 6:30 pm with POPERA in the Quad - the Third Annual Free For All concert celebrating the legacies of Charles Ansbacher & Bee Vradenburg.
