The North American premiere of The Rosenbergs has been selected for the second annual IOTF: The International Online Theatre Festival. The opera was produced by Boston University and Brandeis University, and presented by Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) in 2018.

Arlekin Players Theatre presents The Stone, by German playwright Marius von Mayenburg. Directed by Arlekin Players Theatre's Artistic Director Igor Golyak (Elliot Norton Award-winning Diary of a Mad Man), the production will run May 17th through June 9th in Studio 368 at Hillside Avenue, Needham, MA. These performances are in Russian with audio-translation in English. The show will return September 13th - 22nd in English. Tickets range from $45 - $65. In 1935, a young couple purchases a house from a Jewish family in Dresden, Germany. The play follows the lives of the house's residents, who must grapple with their own identity while experiencing the reverberations created by 60 years of German history. As the house is passed from owner to owner, and generation to generation, the secrets buried in the garden and within the walls reveal themselves.
The French Institute Alliance Française Announces Courtney Geraghty as New Artistic Director

The French Institute Alliance Française is pleased to announce the appointment of Courtney Geraghty as its new Artistic Director. Geraghty, who has both American and French citizenship, arrives at FIAF following an international career with positions in France, Japan, and Chile. Most recently she served as Cultural Attaché for the French Embassy in Santiago, Chile, curating and commissioning artistic events from a variety of disciplines, while also operating as the South American Performing Arts Liaison across the region. She will begin programming for FIAF in 2019.

St. Ann's Warehouse presents the American Premiere of Schaub hne Berlin's Returning to Reims, an adaptation of French author Didier Eribon's memoir of the same name, directed by Berlin auteur Thomas Ostermeier, February 4-25.
