MMMkay Productions has announced a limited engagement of Henry James' classic horror tale The Turn of the Screw in an adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher. Under the direction of Jeramiah Peay, the production will feature (in alphabetical order) Megan Cochrane, Shayna Gabrielle, and Michael Mullen.
Tennessee Shakespeare Company Awarded First-Time Grant From Theatre League, Inc.

Patrick Flick, Executive Director of the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA), and Mark Edelman, founder and president of Theater League, Inc., a Kansas City, MO-based contributor to the performing arts, announced that the League will be gifting Tennessee Shakespeare Company and 34 other Shakespeare theatres across the United States and internationally with general operating support grants.

Les Michaels, a cabaret producer and singer in Palm Springs and Los Angeles who presented an ongoing popular Open Mic Cabaret Series at the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert for many years, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2022 of a heart attack. Les Michaels is survived by his husband, Rick Valencia.
