Author Greg Fields, whose anticipated debut novel Arc of the Comet was released in 2017, is back to continue Conor Finnegan's story with even more ambitious writing in Through the Waters and the Wild [Koehler Books, January 15, 2021].

Jaguar Jonze (the moniker for musician-artist Deena Lynch) will release her ANTIHERO EP on April 16, 2021, via Nettwerk Records.

Waterville Opera House will present a virtual production of Almost, Maine! The production runs December 4-13.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Central Piedmont Theatre will perform three productions virtually this fall, bringing live, local theatre into the homes of theatre aficionados across the region, state and country, for free.

Redhouse Arts Center has recently launched a number of online programs under its 'Virtual Redhouse' and is expanding on those offerings. Beginning May 4th and running through May 17th, Redhouse will be giving audiences the opportunity to watch its production of the Off-Broadway hit Almost, Maine which originally ran in January/February of 2019.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that's so far north, it's almost not in the United States. It's almost in Canada. And it's not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn't exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend - almost - in this delightful midwinter night's dream. The Renaissance City Theatre, Inc. (RCTI) announces the exciting and new 20th Season of the Granite Theatre. Southern Rhode Island's only year-round theatre is within walking distance of some of the region's finest dining as well as a beautiful stretch of beaches and popular resorts. Director Cheryl Schaar does a yeoman's job in interpreting Todd Kreidler's intention in the stage adaptation of GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER ~ assembling an outstanding cast, and creating a well-paced and engaging production at Don Bluth Front Row Theatre, running through September 28th.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood has announced its latest studio album 'Servants of the Sun' will be released June 14 on Silver Arrow Records. The CRB's sixth full-length recording since forming in 2011 finds the band setting aside the studio explorations of more recent work, instead coming full circle to deliver their most direct, bare bones, rock n' roll offering since debut companion albums 'Big Moon Ritual' and 'The Magic Door.'  The first single “Comin' Round The Mountain” is out today on all streaming services.

The story of ANASTASIA is one of mystery, sadness, joy and romance. The audience is taken on a journey with a young girl who doesn't know her past. She wants to know where she came from and where she really belongs. As ANASTASIA continues to tour throughout North America, BWW had a chance to catch up with actress Tari Kelly who plays the part of Countess Lily.

Redhouse starts the new year off with its production of the Off-Broadway hit, Almost Maine written Broadway actor and writer John Cariani. The show will run from January 24th - February 9th at its theater complex at City Center.

Spanaway Lake High School presents the heartwarming story of Almost, Maine, directed by Evan James Hildebrand.

This October, House Party Theatre is back with a dark, supernatural thriller cooked up in their new play development wing: SHADOW WOMAN. A brand new horror play imagined by Dallas playwright Claire Carson, SHADOW WOMAN will bring to the stage the shock, thrill, and camp featured almost exclusively in the film landscape of the past several decades.
