The Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre box office (242 W. 45th Street) is now open for Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman. The play, directed by Sam Mendes, arrives on Broadway this fall. Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions, previews begin Tuesday, October 2 ahead of a Sunday, October 21 opening night. Richmond, VA - Jam Theatricals announces the 2018 - 2019 Broadway In Richmond season, celebrating the 10th year of presenting the Broadway series in Richmond. The season launches with the return of the hit musical phenomenon Les Miserables; continues with the holiday classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer; followed by family favorite The Wizard of Oz; features the Richmond premieres of Waitress, the hit new musical featuring original music by Sara Bareilles and the hilarious new musical comedy set in the 90's, the 1590's - Something Rotten!; and back by popular demand The Book of Mormon. In addition to the season lineup, Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis will be an add-on option with any subscription package. Subscriptions and group sales for the season begin today, March 30, 2018. Individual ticket on-sale dates will be announced as each performance approaches.
