Coinciding with Disney Channel's premiere of 'Adventures in Babysitting,' its 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), Walt Disney Records releases a digital album of songs from chart-topping and certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum DCOM soundtracks, 'Your Favorite Songs from 100 Disney Channel Original Movies.' The album is out on all online outlets today, MAY 27.(http://smarturl.it/100DCOMa1). Its centerpiece is a medley of iconic DCOM songs performed by Hollywood Records recording artists Forever In Your Mind; the band's music video will debut Friday, May 27, during the '100th DCOM Celebration' programming event on Disney Channel and will be available on DisneyMusicVevo immediately following its linear premiere. The music video will also be available same-day to all users of the Disney Channel app for smartphones, tablets and connected TVs.

Viewer engagement for Disney's presentation of the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards was at an all-time high according to the latest viewing data and results from multiple platforms, including social media. For its nine telecasts to-date on Disney Channel and Disney XD, the music awards show for families has reached 11.4 million Total Viewers, 6.8 million Kids ages 2-17 and 3.3 million Adults 18-49. Nearly one third of Kids 2-17 watched the telecast with an adult.
Sofia Carson Named Radio Disney's 'Next Big Thing'

Days following recording artist Sofia Carson's first broadcast performance of her debut single, 'Love Is the Name' -- on Disney Channel's special, the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards -- she has been named Radio Disney's newest 'NBT' (Next Big Thing). Disney Channel to Celebrate 100th Original Movie in May

The 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) premieres this summer, a milestone in the franchise that has entertained kids and families for over 18 years, set all-time cable TV ratings records, helped define a generation and launched some of today's biggest stars. Ushering in the 100th movie, a re-imagined tale of the 1980s film 'Adventures in Babysitting' starring today's popular actresses and recording artists Sabrina Carpenter ('Girl Meets World') and Sofia Carson ('Descendants'), is a nostalgic programming event featuring every DCOM ever made. The '100th DCOM Celebration' begins FRIDAY, MAY 27 with a four day marathon of the 51 most popular DCOMs followed by encore presentations of these and every other DCOM ever made through June. The movies will be seen on Disney Channel, the Disney Channel app and VOD through summer.

Hollywood Records recording artist Sabrina Carpenter is scheduled to perform at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA), music's biggest event for families. Carpenter joins previously announced artists including Ariana Grande, DNCE, Flo Rida, Hailee Steinfeld, Zara Larsson, Daya, Laura Marano, Sofia Carson, Kelsea Ballerini and Jordan Smith on SATURDAY, APRIL 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The two-hour television special 'Disney Channel Presents the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards' originating from the event to be presented SUNDAY, MAY 1 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel.
