Night Fires, Theatre Group Ltd.'s much-loved winter solstice celebration returns to Town Hall Theater this weekend, beginning December 20. The annual event weaves together texts, music and dance from many cultures to create something new and wondrous every year.

Continuing its tradition of presenting innovative and cutting-edge works, Lisa Steindler, Artistic Director of Z Space announces the world premiere of Hundred Days, a folk rock odyssey conceived and composed by The Bengsons.

This year's edition takes a musical journey to the lands of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Greece, Tahiti, Cuba, Russia, Mongolia, Sephardic Spain, Sweden, Bosnia and elsewhere. It tells a tale of a young woman and her journey into the dark earth, a tale of the cycling seasons.

The Satori Group in collaboration with The Bengsons, a New York City based musical duo, will be debuting work from their new piece The Land Is Always Known at On The Boards' Northwest New Works Festival tonight, June 15 and tomorrow, June 16.

Mega-belter Amy Lynn and her brassy band, The Gunshow, return to DROM tonight, September 14th. Joining them will be acclaimed indie-soul-folk duo The Bengsons. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.

Other artists participating in the Festival joined The Bengsons to rehearse and present selections of their new folk-opera, Hundred Days. Know Theatre of Cincinnati is excited to announce that The Bengsons will be returning to Cincinnati and will present an early showing of music from this new work. Performances will occur at Know Theatre of Cincinnati tonight, August 12, 2012 at 8pm.

La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club presents Abigail Nessen Bengson's whirlwind one-act solo performance, The Magic Show: The Story of the Barefoot Angels, at their downtown theater (74A East 4th Street) for a strictly limited engagement beginning Friday, April 10th. Performances run weekends through April 19th.
