Tony, Outer Critics Circle, Drama League, and Drama Desk Award Nominated Broadway star Rob McClure will take on the lead role of Seymour in the off-Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS beginning next month!

While painting the town green in honor of the 40th anniversary of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS’ world premiere in 1982, Tony Award-winning producers Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens and Hunter Arnold have overfed the plants (with an abundance of rain) and will need to postpone the block party originally scheduled for Friday, May 6.

Award-winning film, television, and Broadway star Skylar Astin will take on the lead role of Seymour in the three-time Best Musical Revival Award-winning production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. 

The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre and Artistic Director Rob Melrose has announced the 2022-23 season which includes six world premieres including three world premiere plays, two world premiere adaptations, and one world premiere musical. The 76th season also marks the return of the Summer Chills series, after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

Production photos have been released of two-time Grammy nominee and Theater World Award winner Conrad Ricamora as Seymour in the three-time Best Musical Revival Award-winning production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Ricamora began his run in the starring role on January 11, 2022 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).

Two-time Grammy nominee and Theater World Award winner Conrad Ricamora (“How to Get Away With Murder,” The King & I, Here Lies Love, Soft Power) will star as Seymour in the three-time Best Musical Revival Award-winning production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS beginning January 11, 2022.

The Off-Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS – which re-opened its doors on September 21, 2021 – kicks off Halloween weekend today with a cast performance on the Special Halloween Episode of ABC-TV's national morning show “The View” at 11:00AM ET.

The Outer Critics Circle (OCC), the official organization of writers on New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers and national publications, today announced its plans for honoring the 2019-2020 season of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

Nominations for the 35th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were announced today by theatre veterans Jeremy Jordan and Ashley Spencer. The Awards will be presented during a special online event on Sunday, May 3, broadcast on the official website - www.LortelAwards.org - beginning at 7:00pm ET. A virtual 'host' and presenters will be announced at a later date. As always, the Lortel Awards will be a benefit for The Actors Fund and fans are encouraged to make donations at actorsfund.org/Lortel. WP Theater has announced that their third biennial Pipeline Festival will continue virtually, with #pipelineonline. Originally slated to begin performances on March 26, each of the Festival plays will now be featured weekly by WP Lab Artists in weekly emails and on WP Theater's Instagram @wptheater, through April 24.
