FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents The Girls in White: Songs from the Show on Friday, April 22, 2016. Set in post-depression era Texas, The Girls in White is inspired by a true story about a group of incarcerated women who form a band and become an overnight sesantion through a prison-based radio program. In their newfound fame, they dream of being pardoned and set free. A story of hope and redemption, The Girls in White is 'Chicago' meets 'Orange is the New Black' with a country twang.

This April, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond.

Michael Cunio (Jersey Boys, Under the Streetlamp) and Katrina Lenk (Once, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) will lead the first private industry reading of this new musical at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios on Monday, March 28, at 2pm.

On Sunday February 28th at 3pm Ivy Theatre Company presents a debut reading of TRIAL, a new play by Ashley Griffin (creator of the pop culture phenomenon Forever Deadward,) at 150 West 30th Street, 14th Floor. RSVP by emailing ivytheatre@gmail.com.

Some Shakespearean tragedies are ripe for a prequel; amidst the chaos and bloodshed, you wonder what happened to get us here, and what might be going on just out of view.  In 'Verona Walls,' playwright Laura Hirschberg, a Shakespeare devotee since childhood, imagines a background story for 'Romeo and Juliet' that is separate from the ancient grudges that frame the Bard's tragedy.  She spins a separate and most profound 'bromance' for the Montague boys in this new play, which centers on the loves and mistakes of Mercutio--Romeo's best friend and Shakespeare's notorious scene-stealer--as the action of 'Romeo and Juliet' plays out somewhere offstage.  The Workshop Theater, 312 West 36th Street, will present the play's world premiere March 3 to 26, directed by DeLisa M. White.

An invite-only industry presentation of the country musical THE GOREE GIRLS, with book and lyrics by Michael Bradley, music by Artie Sievers, directed by Ashley Brooke Monroe, and musical direction by Ryan McCurdy today, December 17th, 2015 at 3:00pm.

A Class Act NY, Manhattan's award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, produced four main-stage productions of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE JR. on Dec. 5th and 6th, 2015. The show was double cast with performers ages 12-18 and performed at the beautiful Off-Broadway Theatre, The Five Angels in midtown Manhattan. BroadwayWorld talks to PANTO SNOW QUEEN: UNFROZEN director and Stages Repertory Theatre, Kenn McLaughlin.

Stages continues its holiday tradition with the world premiere of PANTO SNOW QUEEN: UNFROZEN. This is the eighth British pantomime that Stages has produced, and the seventh to receive its world premiere at Stages during the holiday season. The production runs tonight, December 3, 2015 - January 3, 2016.

Co-creators and ONCE cast members Erikka Walsh, Katrina Lenk, and Scott Stangland launch their Seed&Spark campaign for Season One of MISS TERI. The actor/musicians are set to film the remaining episodes in the spring of 2016.

MISS TERI is an offbeat comedy about three misfit musicians who look to the stars to find their way. The series is co-created by and features Erikka Walsh, Katrina Lenk and Scott Stangland.
