Imagine being in your last year of college as a theatre major. There are so many things happening: recitals, senior projects, juries and final productions. THE GREEN ROOM musical takes us on a journey of 4 college seniors who are approaching their final days on campus together, wondering and worrying about entering the real world.

This Spotlight focuses on Stephen Foster & Chuck Pelletier, award-winning co-writers of the musical 'The Green Room' which was based on a one-act play written by Rod Damer. The couple, married since 2011, met through their mutual love of theater and have launched their own production company, Round Earth Entertainment, from home during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Girl-next-door makes good! Calabasas High School graduate Sami Staitman, who is entering her sophomore year as a musical theatre student at Pace University in New York, has already landed her first Off-Broadway starring role in the theatre-themed musical, 'The Green Book,' which opens September 27. We caught up with Sami during her summer 'break' (Sami never takes time off from acting!)

A new backstage musical illustrating the journey of four best friends determined to make it out of the Green Room and onto the Broadway Stage. The show features music & lyrics by Chuck Pelletier and book by C. Stephen Foster and Rod Damer. Green Room has direction by Kevin Caravalho, musical direction by Jane Viemeister, and choreography by Terri Taylor. The show features the Songwriter's Guild of America's Award-Winning song 'It's All About Me'. Green Room runs from August 7th - August 29th.
