BroadwaySF, part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, announced UNSCRIPTED: An Evening with John Cusack + Screening of High Fidelity, the next installment in BroadwaySF’s Unscripted series where culture-shaping luminaries and innovators bring their singular perspectives to San Francisco for an unforgettable evening of engaging conversation and captivating storytelling, live on stage. 

Chandler Center for the Arts will present An Evening with John Cusack With Special Screening of High Fidelity on Friday, November 17 at 7:30 PM. Chandler Center for the Arts is located at 250 N. Arizona Avenue in downtown Chandler.

The central allure of every iteration is Hornsby's self-absorbed protagonist, Rob Gordon, a 30-something owner of a vinyl record store who suffers from a deficiency of emotional refinement. The first-person narrative gives us a torrent of insights into Rob's pedestrian existence and relationship complications induced by his lack of accountability. Hornsby endows Rob with self-deprecating wit and a listless regard for social norms that we end up liking the guy anyway.

David Lindsay-Abaire (Book), Amanda Green (lyrics) and Tom Kitt's(Music) rock musical HIGH FIDELITY based on Nick Hornby's novel and the movie of the same name takes the audience on a thirtysomething's journey of self discovery as he finally understands that relationships take commitment, loyalty and being completely present in the partnership.

Neil Gooding Productions (Sweet Charity, Dogfight) and Highway Run Productions (Rent) are thrilled to announce the full cast of HIGH FIDELITY. Playing at Hayes Theatre Co from 18 November, High Fidelity is based on the novel by Nick Hornby and the Touchstone Pictures Film.

Pat Ciamacco, artistic director at Blank Canvas, has a 'thing' for off-beat musicals. Sure, he produced 'Hair' and 'Godspell,' but it's more likely that what you'll see mounted on his stage are 'Beach Blanket Party,' 'Debbie Does Dallas,' and 'Texas Chainsaw Musical.' I'm surprised he's missed out on 'Bullshot Crummond,' 'Dance of the Vampires,' 'Expresso Bongo,' 'Hands on a Hard Body, and, of course, 'The Rocky Horror Show.'
