Under the direction of Artistic Director Hal Brooks, the Cape Cod Theatre Project has a history of presenting some of America's most exciting new plays, including: John Cariani's Almost, Maine, Lucas Hnath's Hillary and Clinton and Heidi Schreck's Grand Concourse. After each reading, audiences are invited to participate in talkbacks to assist in the development of the newly-presented works, many of which go on to off-Broadway, Broadway, or regional engagements.

Present Laughter, starring Academy Award® and two-time Tony Award® winner Kevin Kline in his triumphant return to Broadway, plays at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). Celebrating 10 seasons of Roundabout Underground, Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the sixth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written and directed by emerging artists, as well as post-show receptions. The Reading Series will feature new works by Saheem Ali, Emily Feldman, Alex Lubischer, Don Nguyen, Ming Peiffer and Michael Thurber.

The event features a farm-to-table dinner, performances from six seasons of SPACE-developed work, and a live auction. The gala will take place on Monday, October 24th at 7 p.m. at Sun West Studios, 450 W. 31st Street, NYC.

He takes on The Statue of Liberty in the fight of a lifetime; the high-stakes boxing match that is immigration today. Is Manuel worthy? No one is spared in this political comedy that pulls no punches about immigration reform and the American Dream.
