Tonight (May 17, 2022), Zachary Noah Piser, will step into the of ‘Evan Hansen’ on Broadway in Dear Evan Hansen, the Tony, Grammy and Oliver Award-winning musical. Piser, who has been part of the Dear Evan Hansen family since March 2019 and was most recently the ‘Evan’ alternate on Broadway, becomes the first Asian American actor to play the role full-time.

Tonight, May 3, Talia Simone Robinson will become the first Black actor to play Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway full-time. Previously Zoe/Alana understudy, Robinson succeeds Gabriella Carruba, who played the role until May 1.

Ben Levi Ross was welcomed back to the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) on March 22, where he re-joined the Broadway company of Dear Evan Hansen as 'Evan Hansen.' Ross made his Broadway debut as a cover in Dear Evan Hansen in 2017, and went on to star as the original Evan in the first North American Tour.

This spring, the show will welcome back Ben Levi Ross, who earned critical acclaim when he originated the role of 'Evan Hansen' on the first North American tour after understudying the role on Broadway. Zachary Noah Piser, who has been part of the Dear Evan Hansen family since March 2019 and is currently the 'Evan' alternate on Broadway, will then become the first Asian American actor to step into the role full-time.

Jordan Fisher appeared on CBS Mornings this morning to discuss returning to Broadway in the title role of Dear Evan Hansen. Dear Evan Hansen celebrated its long-awaited return to Broadway last night, marking the final Broadway show to make its return this year. BroadwayWorld was there to take you inside the night! 

Dear Evan Hansen returns to Broadway tomorrow, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 7:30 pm at the Music Box Theatre (239 W 45th Street). The production will be the final Broadway show to make its return this year. 

Jordan Fisher took to the stage on The View to perform 'Waving Through A Window', the hit song from Dear Evan Hansen. Fisher will return to star as Evan Hansen in the Tony-winning Broadway musical when the production reopens on Broadway. He was also seen in Hamilton on Broadway, Rent Live, and Grease Live.

Watch Jordan Fisher sit down with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest to discuss how demanding the role of Evan Hansen is and what it is like to be reunited with the company after two years apart. The returning  casts have been announced for all three productions of Dear Evan Hansen, each of them featuring the  acclaimed actors who were performing the title role in March 2020 at the time of the shutdown.
