Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane stopped by CBS's THE TALK, filming this week from New York City, to discuss their hit Broadway play, IT'S ONLY A PLAY.

Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak will helm Kiss Me, Kate-his first musical since winning the 2014 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. A co-production with The Old Globe in San Diego, Kiss Me, Kate will play for only four weeks, from May 14-June 14.

Alley Theatre presents Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Playwright Theresa Rebeck directs the Alley Theatre Resident Company in this riveting American drama, officially opening tonight, April 1, and running through, April 19 at the University of Houston's Wortham Theatre. Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that T.R. Actor James Denton ('DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES') is in town to promote his new show 'GOOD WITCH' on the Hallmark Channel. ABUNDANCE, the 1990 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart), is an epic tale of friendship set against the backdrop of the sweeping American West. Abundance is directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, who directed last season's production of William Inge's Natural Affection. Performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on February 17, and the production opened last weekend on March 1. Playwright Beth Henley was in the audience on Saturday night (February 28) to see TACT's production of her play, ABUNDANCE. The cast was not told she was there until after the show and were thrilled to meet her. Scroll down to see her beaming backstage with the cast!

IT'S ONLY A PLAY's Martin Short joined the hosts of ABC's THE VIEW yesterday to discuss taking over the lead role from Nathan Lane in the hit Broadway play.

According to Telecharge.com, Martin Short will only be continuing with the production through the original closing date of March 29th. He is also out of the show on Sunday, February 15. We'll have to see who steps up as Short's replacement come spring!
