The Orleans Showroom will bring celebrated entertainers to The Orleans Hotel and Casino in March, including the First Ladies of Disco featuring Martha Wash, Linda Clifford and Norma Jean Wright (formerly of Chic), southern rock band 38 Special, R&B and funk group Ohio Players and Grammy Award-winning country band Diamond Rio. March entertainment will also feature free live entertainment at Bourbon Street Lounge, Prime Rib Loft and Bailiwick All American Pub + Eatery throughout the month.

Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke will embark on a headline tour across Canada this spring including newly confirmed stops at Montreal's Corona Theatre, Ottawa's Bronson Centre, Toronto's Danforth Hall, Winnipeg's The Garrick and Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom among many others. The winners of the 2019 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced tonight at a star-studded ceremony, with 35 Awards presented, shared between 18 productions which played in Sydney during the calendar year of 2019. More than 400 members of the Sydney theatre community packed the York Theatre at the Seymour Centre to celebrate.

Nominations were announced today for the Sydney Theatre Awards for 2019, which will be presented at a gala ceremony on Monday 20 January 2020 at 7pm at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre.

Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke presented CURE Childhood Cancer with a donation of $50,000 at their seventh-annual “Brothers and Sisters Holiday Homecoming Show” over Thanksgiving weekend in Atlanta. Over the past six years, Blackberry Smoke has raised more than $400,000 to benefit children's cancer research through a variety of “Brothers and Sisters” events such as the Holiday Homecoming shows, the “Brothers and Sisters Reunion Weekend” in Maryville, TN and their recent Ride For CURE event hosted by Tom Glavine, which included more than 500 motorcycle riders participating in a ride to raise critical funds for CURE.

Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke will release their new project Homecoming: Live In Atlanta—a new live album and concert film—on November 15. Recorded at their annual “Brothers and Sisters Holiday Homecoming” show at Atlanta's Tabernacle last November, both the album and film, which was directed by Lagan Sebert and Ted Roach, are now available for pre-order. Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Rebel Wilson has withdrawn from Sydney Theatre Company's production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane. New casting for the Martin McDonagh comedy will be announced in the coming weeks.

Blackberry Smoke performed on last night's episode of “Last Call with Carson Daly.” The segment was filmed live at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA and featured the band performing two songs: “Waiting For The Thunder” (watch/share here) and “Medicate My Mind” (watch here).  

Blackberry Smoke will perform a series of stripped down shows this spring as part of their “Break It Down Tour,” the band's first-ever acoustic tour. The tour, featuring Ida Mae, includes a stop in Easton at the State Theatre on Friday, April 5th.
