As part of the New York International Fridge Festival, The Dionysian will present the world premiere of Steve McMahon's sad indie love song for a four-performance run at IRT, August 31 - September 9, 2017.

The Representatives latest site-specific, politically-charged production of PRIVATE MANNING GOES TO WASHINGTON, which imagines a secret meeting between transgender Army whistleblower Chelsea Manning and President Barack Obama, has added more performances to its limited run, now playing through Sunday, 12/18 at The Studio @ 345 in the Meatpacking District345 (345 West 13thStreet - west of 8th Avenue) NYC.  As with all productions by The Representatives, the performance is followed by a party sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery.  Tickets are only $40 and $20 for students. The Representatives are presenting the world premiere of a newly revised and expanded production of 'Private Manning Goes To Washington' by Stan Richardson. Performances begin Tonight, Tuesday, November 29th for a limited run, with the Opening on Sunday, December 4th. This timely play will be performed at the Studio at 345 (345 West 13th Street - west of 8th Avenue) NYC. The production is co-directed by Stan Richardson & Matt Steiner, with design by Paul Hudson and dramaturgy by Jordan Schildcrout. Tickets are only $40 and $20 for students. The Representatives, whose latest show, PRIVATE MANNING GOES TO WASHINGTON, which imagines a secret meeting between transgender Army whistleblower Chelsea Manning and President Barack Obama, have penned an open letter to the President in response to the recent US election results.

 Carolyn Dorfman Dance, whose bold and dramatic works connect life and movement, return to the heart-shaped land of Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) November 16-23, 2016. The 7-day tour will include a mix of educational community outreach and performance. Carolyn Dorfman Dance will present the European premiere of Traces, danced to a score by Sarajevo native Svjetlana Bukvich. The company will also perform Under My Skin and WAVES, which will feature five dancers from the Ballet of National Theatre in Sarajevo.

Life and death exists side by side in EURYDICE, Sarah Ruhl's whimsical and poetic reimagining of the classic Greek Orpheus myth. In the eponymous play, now at The Pearl Theater through November 6, we follow Eurydice into the underworld where she reunites with her departed father.

The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company will hold its seventh annual gala on Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 pm at the Skirball Cultural Center with an evening of musical performances of original works, created entirely by the company's student participants from San Fernando High School as part of Unusual Suspects' flagship theater-arts education and mentorship program.

A sold-out audience, captivated by performances from five world-class dance companies, filled the Historic Catskill Point on October 11, 2014, for the second annual edition of Hudson Valley Dance Festival. Transforming the 19th century warehouse on the banks of theHudson River into a one-of-a-kind performance space, Hudson Valley Dance Festival (#hvdance) raised $121,125 for Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
